After having spent some time in London this past year, I feel a stronger closeness to it. One of the cities conveniences, and sole weak spots as we saw today, is its Underground system. My heart goes out to everyone and I pray, in God's name, that we would stop hurting one another! I just don't understand what is so difficult about this. And I mean in everything we do, small or little. The smallest wrongdoing unto another permits larger ones, so on and so forth... . But this is insanity. I don't know any Muslims well enough to ask them about their personal feelings on all the things done in the name of Allah.
In response to Pay's comments on the previous post, I had an interesting conversation with a guy who I am temping with. He's from the UK and he felt very desensitized to this news regarding the bombings. Basically, he was use to hearing about it. He had an interesting point: there is so much going on around the world, but we just always happen to give more attention to the popular kids. He shared an interesting statistic - that on the average, about fifty children in the US are reported missing DAILY, and a third of them are Black. Yet we don't hear about this. However, because Natalee Holloway, God bless her and God find her, is blonde and pretty, she happens to get tons of press coverage. I do hope they find Natalee, and she does remain in my prayers when I see news on her, but I see this guy's point.
Everyone. Let's stop the lies.

Good post. I have friends that live in London; People that I care about and prayerfully they are fine but it was scary for a time. I agree w/ your friend in a lot of ways. I don't see why that woman in Aruba is national news. It really isn't national news.
I would think the teenage prostitution rings in the innercity would make better news but that is seldom the case. But I did not come here to complain about the media. I can do that on my own blog. *winks*
Your friend has a great deal of wisdom I just wish more shared it.
