SPuGO time

Have you ever stood back from your living space and looked at it from the eyes of a guest? If you ever do, you'll realize that you've accumulated a massive amount of stuff that's just sat there for an indefinite period of time serving no function towards usage, practicality or even aesthetics. Sigh. Well, that's me. Therefore, its time to SPuGO! (Yes, let's give it a big round of applause!)

SORT, PURGE, GIVE, ORGANIZE
With a GOAL to Purge and Give before this weekend is OVER!

Sort

Time to just go through old mail, old bank statements, magazines, correspondence, candy wrappers, work party swag, whatever! I have so much stuff that has mounted to junk. Even a leopard skin robe. Yes. Really. Time to honestly find a way to store all that yarn of mine. (C will be happy to hear that.)

Purge

Contrary to what my room looks like right now, I'm actually NOT a pack rat. I love throwing things away. It's old, useless, or defunct. Out! Gone! Bye bye. One of these items would be a pair of heels that served me well but the strap broke. And, no, I will not go fix it cos that's just going to cost more.

Give

No, I won't fit into those jeans anymore. No, I will never have time to mend that piece of clothing that I only like half heartedly. And no, I don't need that MUCH... of whatever! Time to make a trip to the Goodwill and public library.

Organize

Time to get some file folders and label some files! Time to maximise my work space in my room.

This weekend may only be SPuG, but hopefully also SPuGO. Will it also turn into SPuGOC with a need for a good CLEANING?

I'll be posting pics of what I dig up from the dark depths of my room soon. We can all have a good laugh.
