After six weeks of what didn't even seem like hard work, here I am with a rediscovered skill at the church Women's brunch:

That's Susan next to me and then Jennie one more down, awesome handmade jewelry and cute embroidered onesies & gift cards, respectively.

Something from the garden....

Bianca, always a faithful model... check out that apron. That piping took forever. It was Chris who finally figured out a way to do it quickly. I knew I kept him 'round for a reason...

Finally, everyone needs one big hit maker in their inventory. And here was mine. Headbands!

After a mad rush of headband purchasers, the crowds were dwindling. But not before a visit from my most colorful customer of the day, Keenu. She's 99 and still loves a good knitted SAMMIE hat! That's right, work it!

Phew! We're done. Bianca loses her skirt.

Remember the vintage cherry apron? McCall snatched it up (hence, ahem naked Bianca) with all its matching accessories. I promised I would make one for her little girl and upcoming Disney Kids cover girl Harper Jo. I winged it but it turned out ok, I think! You be the judge!

Keenu and Harper Jo prove that SAMMIE garnishes aren't only for a certain age group, but all ladies who are young at heart! For the full album, click here.
Wow. Finally done. Now that some (forgotten) debts are paid off with the money made, rent is secure and my neck is healing from being hunched over, its time to give some shout outs. To my roommates! (yes, Eliz, I know you're blurking!) Thank you for putting up with all the stray pieces of thread, the cussing underneath the breath, the mess in the dining room. I thank you for being such loyal fans. I needed that occasional, "Aw that's cute!" Woot! Eliz, without your generosity of the Singer, this truly would not have been possible. Thank you! To Chris, who had to endure (um, again and again?) his girlfriend being in yet another crafty streak, you're not only a great partner, but an awesome sounding board. To Jaki, whose brand Shui Shui came alongside SAMMIE. You are a talented woman! To my mom, who not only taught me how to sew, but how to figure out how to run with an idea when its hot. Thank you!
