Happiness is ...

... a big fat bowl of ramen (especially on a cold winter day).

And it happens to be recession friendly - especially of you make it yourself.

You'll need:
A pack of Ramen
2 tsp Miso paste
1 tsp Soy Sauce
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp Onion Powder

So boil that Ramen up like you usually would with the recommended amount of water. Chuck that icky insta packet of flavored MSG out. Remove from stove. Throw everything in. Get it nice and evenly distributed. There's your broth!

Boil up an egg, and add it to the ramen. How about some leftover meats from last night? What also spells cheap is bean sprouts as well as green onions.

All this and that big bucket of miso will still last at least a year in the fridge. Call it magic ... or just fermentation!
