.... doing an imitation of himself which turns out to be like Winnie the Pooh:
- the Tough Guy. We don't know how this emerged, but we call it the Tough Guy. It generally consists of exclamations like, "Oh you KNOW it!" or "Oh, dat's right!"
And the new ones never stop! Recently, thanks to Levon we can't get enough of Troy Aikman. Yes, some of you may ask:
1) Why Troy Aikman?
2) Who is Troy Aikman?
Well, here's a likeness of him for starters:
But more apparently, he's former star Quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys, sports commentator and a vigilante for poor kids all-around! Way to go! Levon brought over the Cheez-Its box one day, and on it was wonderful Troy starring right out of us, determined pointer finger aimed right at our hearts and minds. His eyes, however, said it all. As he clutched his football to one side, we knew this man was serious! How anyone ever got anything else done without this kind look on their face eludes me!
Chris' imitation of Troy is spot-on. Full of energy, droopy eyelids, finger pointing - what more could you want, really! The other night, he did such a precise impersonation that I laughed so hard, and then almost barfed. I could feel my meal creeping up.
Sadly, the sweepstakes that the Cheez-Its box was way over (like in March, which means those Cheez-Its were dirty old! - so our chance to meet the Big Game MVP is long gone. However, we owe Troy alot for the many laughs. He is so dear to us, in fact, that when we feel an ounce of meanness or criticism come up in our relationship, we happily droop our eyelids and point our finger, doing our Troy Aikman impersonation. See, even our relationship is blossoming cos of Troy!
So, thanks Troy! And now how about an impersonation of Arnold/BillyBob/Pooh all at once?! That's dangerous.
