This is like mile 24 in a marathon. You've done all you could. You've saved up your strength, and one final push will get you across the finish line. But. You are. So. Friggin'. TIRED! I don't think I've knit more in my life collectively than I have in the past month. But like a marathon, the day of running is not so much a test (unless you're doing Boston or something crazy, then in which case, good luck) - anyways, not so much a test - but a celebration of your training. Kind of like Heaven, perhaps? So this Saturday, when I finally lay out my knitted wares for the world to see, I will happily celebrate whatever God has allowed me to do. Amen.
Erstwhile, I'm still at work because this week I have several deadlines. I think I need an assistant.
To do post-women's brunch sale:
-Spend more time with roommates
- Spend more time being spontaneous (yes, I'm planning spontaneity, so what)
- Read
- Watch some movies WITHOUT knitting
- Spend time with C while NOT knitting
Pictures to post post-women's brunch sale:
- Space Invaders socks
- Turquoise shrug
- Moebius capelet knit without seams. Oh yes. You love it, I know.
Thing to knit after post-women's brunch sale non-knitting phase:
- My first ever cardigan which I will chronicle on this very blog - knitted underwater in a fishbowl in the middle of Lincoln Center. Yes, Blaine this. This cardigan will be for mummy.
Wack to berk I go.
