Happy Birthday

Today is Chris' birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DUDE! C is the guy friend to all guys so much so that sometimes I wish I could be a guy just to have a friend like him. (Until I realize, that I enjoy being myself and I still get to have him as a friend, and much more!). We threw a big taco party at my house and someone had the good common sense to bring a PS2. I was cooking for majority of the night, and didn't realize that C had eaten so much until he said:

Ugh, I feel ... debaucherous.


It was a great night of testerone, gaming, tacos and Coronas.

I personally think that a person should celebrate their birthday for a whole week. That said, I really didn't do that for myself, so I might celebrate my birthday with C's this week. Today is his actual birthday, and we're so happy that it is raining! A year ago, before we were even dating, he sat in my living room eating homemade soup next to a roaring fire. (Don't get too excited, there were, like, 3 other people there).

Happy Birthday to the man with the most nicknames!(Dude, Nalgene, Grandizer, Noodles, Slaughtering Iron, Nado, etc.etc.)

Fun stuff. Happy Birthday to the C man.
(And RYC: I think it's sometimes hard to discern whether the person is caring about how their significant other reflects on them, or whether they just want someone who they can relate to. Maybe I'm naive, but I like to not think that everyone is obsessed with appearances...)
